Cheaha State Park
From Interstate I-20 b/w Birmingham and Atlanta, take exit #191 and go South on Hwy. 431, soon take a right on Hwy. 281 stay strait and follow the signs!

Desoto State Park
Take interstate I-59 to exit #231 turn on Alabama Hwy. 11 West. Drive into the City of Fort Payne..be ready to take a left just before a park on Hwy. 35..look for the sign. Look for another left turn which will be Hwy 222..look for the sign. Take Hwy 222 up the mountain, not far you will reach a left turn which will be County Road 89..here look for state park signs..there is also a gas station at the turn! After turning left on CR 89, stay straight and you will enter the park on this road.

Lake Guntersville State Park
Take interstate I-59 to exit #181 in Gadsden. Get on Hwy. 431 North which will lead into the City of Guntersville. Just before reaching the Guntersville city limits, look for Ala. Hwy. 227, take Hwy. 227 West.. into Gunterville State Park.

Lakepoint Resort State Park
Take Hwy. 231, and turn on Hwy. 82 E. Stay on Hwy 82 until you get to Hwy. 431, take a left which will be heading N. Soon after crossing the Walter F. George Reservoir, take a right on Hwy. 165. From there follow the signs!

Oak Mountain State Park
Take I-65 to the Cahawba Valley exit outside of Birmingham. Go toward the Cracker Barrel, and all of the fast food..from there immediately take a left turn..look for the state park sign!

Roland Cooper State Park
Take Hwy. #5 and turn on Hwy 28 to Camden..follow the state park signs! Before entering the city of Camden, look for a left hand turn..turn there and follow this road to a "T" then take a left..go a few miles,
you will pass signs for Bridgeport Park, stay strait and look for a left
hand turn, this is Deer Run Drive, and the state park's entrance! Don't worry about getting lost there are signs at every turn in the area!
